Nuclear medicine connectivity developer Numa will debut a range of enhancements to NumaLink, its cross-vendor data-translation application, and NumaStore, its nuclear medicine and PET/CT image management system.

New features touted in NumaLink are DICOM translation capabilities for a range of proprietary PET datasets. These include data from PET cameras made by Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, and GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., according to Numa. The Amherst, NH-based firm also said that NumaLink will convert nonstandard PET DICOM data into a format compatible across most major vendors.

Also new at the RSNA show will be NumaStore support for the Siemens microPET and Inveon dedicated PET small animal imaging systems, including list-mode image data as well as sinograms and image volumes. After acquisition directly from the scanner, the non-DICOM data may be stored and recalled later for processing, Numa said.
