MIMvista

2005 11 16 15 00 57 706

Cleveland-based MIMvista will demonstrate its family of advanced visualization tools, including PET/CT applications.

2005 11 16 15 00 57 706 MIMcontouring allows for automatic contouring of PET and SPECT data, using an edge-detection technique, in radiation therapy planning, as well as tumor volume calculation. Contours are stored in DICOM RT structure sets compatible with radiation therapy planning systems, and segmentation can be conducted based on standardized uptake values (SUVs).

Also provided is 2D/3D paintbrush contour editing in three planes. The software is pending FDA 510(k) clearance and is scheduled to begin commercial shipments in December 2005.

MIMcardiac is designed for nuclear cardiology studies, providing quantitative assessment of rest/stress image differences. Key features are orientation according to American Society of Nuclear Cardiology formats, automatic calculation of cardiac volumes, 4D PET/SPECT/CT/MR fusion and display, and visual assessment of wall motion and thickening.

The software also includes support for fusion comparison of rest/stress images via difference images expressed in percent of normal perfusion levels. MIMcardiac is pending 510(k) clearance and is scheduled to begin commercial shipments in December 2005.
