Multimodality vendor GE will highlight a new remote-access option for its Advantage Workstation advanced visualization platform.

2005 11 16 14 35 28 706 AW RemoteAccess provides remote access to Advantage Workstation capabilities, enabling clinicians to use AW applications via a remote PC or laptop computer. Users can employ the application in either Remote Review or Virtual AW mode.

AW VolumeShare is a recently introduced application that helps clinicians handle high exam volumes and large datasets, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., vendor. AW VolumeShare is compatible with shared licenses, making it more affordable for multiple users to capitalize on advanced applications.
