Can AI software drive CT lung screening rates higher?

Can software based on artificial intelligence improve the anemic rates of CT lung cancer screening in the U.S.? That's the hope of Infervision, whose InferRead Lung CT.AI software won the Minnies award for Best New Radiology Software. The application is designed to automatically detect lung nodules on chest CT exams.

Lung CT.AI can be used for CT lung cancer screening applications, as well as the detection of incidental findings on CT exams. The company hopes the software will help radiologists detect lung nodules earlier and with more accuracy.
