RSNA 2019 offers vision of the possible in radiology
November 4, 2019 -- What does the future hold for radiology? There's no better place to find out than at RSNA 2019. This year's meeting promises to continue the strong emphasis on artificial intelligence found in recent shows, while also touching on important topics such as professional burnout, precision health, and integrating radiologists into patient care.  Discuss
RSNA 2019 Scientific & Educational Presentations
November 14, 2019 -- Our final destination on the Road to RSNA is imaging informatics -- specifically PACS, cybersecurity, structured reporting, clinical decision support (CDS), analytics, and issues regarding patient access to radiology results. RSNA 2019 attendees can learn how to improve their radiology reports, the benefits of CDS for radiologists, ways informatics can help better communicate imaging results, and much more.
November 13, 2019 -- Digital radiography (DR) maintains its solid foundation of diagnostic support for imaging centers, emergency departments, outpatient clinics, and mobile operations worldwide. Presentations at RSNA 2019 will feature hot topics such as how DR will benefit from artificial intelligence, dark-field x-ray, hardware improvements in DR systems, and other key research findings.
November 12, 2019 -- From 3D printing to virtual and augmented reality, advanced visualization technologies continue making great strides in healthcare with each passing year. RSNA 2019 attendees will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss these developments in a number of scientific and educational presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops.
November 11, 2019 -- At this year's RSNA meeting, ultrasound's versatility will be on display via scientific presentations and posters, as well as refresher courses that will keep sonographers at the top of their game. Hot topics for RSNA 2019 include shear-wave elastography, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, automated breast ultrasound, and more.
November 7, 2019 -- The vast number of CT presentations at RSNA 2019 is a testament to the modality's resilience, its value, and its adaptability. This year's presentations will reaffirm the utility of tried-and-true imaging techniques and also feature relatively new technologies that have already begun reshaping the approach radiologists take to common clinical applications.
November 6, 2019 -- The diverse utility of MRI is endless, as evidenced in the wide range of clinical applications to be discussed in the scientific sessions of RSNA 2019. This year's meeting features presentations, posters, courses, and exhibits on topics such as imaging with field strengths that span from 0.55 tesla to 7 tesla, gadolinium-based contrast agents, safety in the MRI suite, and novel technologies such as MR elastography.
November 5, 2019 -- At RSNA 2019, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming women's imaging, such as enhancing breast imaging, improving radiologists' workflow, and reducing recall rates with digital mammography. This year's conference will also feature presentations on shear-wave elastography, contrast-enhanced spectral mammography, and more.
November 4, 2019 -- Welcome to the first installment of this year's Road to RSNA preview of the RSNA 2019 meeting in Chicago. Our journey along the Road to RSNA begins with our preview of artificial intelligence (AI), a topic that's once again primed to take center stage at the meeting. AI research is largely focused these days on augmenting radiologists and improving the practice of radiology and patient care.
