Positron hires medical director

PET developer Positron of Houston has hired Dr. Michael Merhige as its medical director.

Merhige is currently director of the Heart Center of Niagara in Niagara Falls, NY, which specializes in the noninvasive management of coronary disease using PET myocardial perfusion imaging.

Merhige will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to Positron, and has designated his practice as a show site for Positron software developers and customers.
