Firms partner on cloud-based AI for radiology

IDgital and global software company Zazmic have partnered to release a cloud-based digital assistant platform (DAP) using Google machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) for use in radiology.

DAP features integration with Google Voice, Google Cloud Speech-to-Text, and DeepMind for Google technologies. Using Google Cloud, the platform accesses patient and clinical information. DAP then performs a variety of specific tasks on behalf of the physician.

IDgital insists the end goal is to assist radiologists, not to replace them.
