Claron to debut software upgrade at RSNA

Advanced visualization and analysis firm Claron Technology has launched an upgrade to its Withinsight Framework (WIF) software.

WIF is designed to speed development of medical image visualization applications, and version 3.0 includes enhancements in rendering, segmentation tools, and overall performance. WIF 3.0 also serves as the foundation for Claron's new algorithms developed to address specific, clinically focused workflow needs, according to the firm.

The WIF platform offers visualization, segmentation, registration, and navigation functionality to support the development of standalone, thin-client, and zero-footprint medical imaging applications, Claron said.

The new version will be highlighted at next month's RSNA 2013 meeting.
