Merge launches Premier Partner Program

PACS and connectivity firm Merge Technologies has launched a program under which it will collaborate with clinical partners to develop medical informatics solutions for diagnostic imaging. Milwaukee-based Merge said it has signed on the Medical College of Wisconsin as a charter member of the Premier Partner Program.

As a Premier Partner, the college will provide input into the development of Merge’s workflow products, and receive a license to Merge’s medical software tools such as MergeWeb for clinical workflow research and product co-development. It will also have access to the body of Merge's healthcare informatics knowledge, the company said. In exchange, Merge will receive ongoing clinical input, commercial rights for products co-developed with the Medical College, as well as a premier clinical trial and reference site, according to the company.
