Mirion to acquire CIRS in $54M deal

November 12, 2021 -- Mirion Technologies recently signed an agreement to acquire Computerized Imaging Reference Systems (CIRS), a provider of imaging and radiation therapy phantoms, in a deal worth about $54 million.

CIRS will be integrated into Mirion's Medical segment, and Mirion expects the business to generate adjusted revenue of approximately $16 million for the 2022 calendar year. In addition, Mirion expects the profit margins of CIRS to improve over time.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of the 2021 calendar year, subject to customary closing conditions.
