Fujifilm wins ACR contract

October 23, 2009 -- Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, has won a contract for its Synapse PACS with the American College of Radiology (ACR).

The Reston, VA-based ACR has installed the PACS in its ACR Education Center. Synapse PACS will be used for a total of eight courses, including body, musculoskeletal, and cardiac MRI. As part of the agreement, Fuji provides technical and onsite support while courses using Synapse are under way, the company said.
