By AuntMinnie.com staff writers

September 29, 2009 -- For the first time, Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, has deployed its Synapse PACS software at a U.S. military medical installation in Europe.

The Europe Regional Medical Command (ERMC) selected the Synapse PACS to replace its legacy PACS. Synapse PACS will provide the ERMC with enhanced communication between ERMC's hospital and clinics, as well as enhanced workflow through Fuji's CommonView and MultiView technologies.

Patient images can be viewed anywhere within the ERMC network and Air Force and Navy sites in Europe and abroad.
