Carestream installs first DRX-Compass unit

December 11, 2020 -- Carestream Health has made the first installation of its DRX-Compass x-ray system. The system was installed at Edward-Elmhurst Health's Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL.

The DRX-Compass system installed at Edward Hospital uses a 17 x 17-inch digital x-ray detector, which means technologists don't have to take the detector out of the bucky and reposition it from landscape to portrait mode.

Edward Hospital has 420 beds and uses several Carestream systems including DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray, DRX-Evolution, and DRX-Ascend.
