July 28, 2014 -- Merge Healthcare has installed its vendor-neutral archive (VNA) at a hospital in western Oklahoma.

Comanche County Memorial Hospital, a nonprofit, acute care facility in western Oklahoma, selected Merge's iConnect Enterprise Archive, the company said. The hospital is also implementing iConnect Access, a platform that combines universal viewing and image sharing into a single enterprise system, allowing any browser-based device to transport and view patient data.

The partnership will also allow the hospital to meet meaningful use stage 2 requirements for exchanging images and support health information exchanges (HIEs), Merge said.
