Arterys unveils Mica software at RSNA 2017

By staff writers

November 26, 2017 -- Imaging software developer Arterys unveiled its Mica software for medical image analytics at RSNA 2017 in Chicago.

The artificial intelligence (AI) software is web-based and runs on a scalable, distributed graphics processing unit (GPU) architecture. It supports workflows for various imaging modalities such as MRI and CT, and it is designed to work with applications that integrate AI algorithms into workflows. Mica also captures user edits, so algorithms can be improved based on real-world use.

Mica also includes the Arterys PHI Service, which ensures patients' protected health information remains within the hospital network but can be accessed remotely by certain users.

Mica now supports the U.S. Food and Drug Administration-cleared Cardio AIMR and a new clearance-pending application for oncology workflow for the lung and liver: Arterys Liver AIMR, CT and Arterys Lung AICT.
