The acquisition builds on Siemens' existing relationship with CommonSpirit Health, which operates 143 hospitals in 22 states, according to the firm. Under the agreement, Block Imaging will continue supplying parts to providers across the U.S. to help its clients develop sustainable, cost-effective imaging equipment fleets, Siemens said.

The closing of this acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals, according to Siemens.
