July 5, 2012 -- The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Education and Research Foundation and Rad-Aid International have created the new Radiologist Technologist Fellowship Program for Developing Countries.

Through the program, radiologic technologists and radiation therapists will travel abroad as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, assisting facilities with tasks such as strategic planning and onsite medical imaging support. In addition, participants will help with special projects such as educational training and research.

To be eligible for the program, participants must be certified technologists with a minimum of three years of clinical experience. They must also be ASRT members.

The deadline for the next application period is September 30.
