Ziehm lands German military deal

C-arm developer Ziehm Imaging has received an order for 110 C-arms from the German Bundeswehr, the country's federal armed forces.

The mobile x-ray systems will be utilized worldwide by the Bundeswehr in operating rooms located in field hospitals, navy ships, and regular hospitals, according to Ziehm of Nuremberg, Germany. The order includes 20 Vision FD Vario 3D systems and 90 Solo modular C-arms, which have been exclusively modified at the request of the Bundeswehr, Ziehm said.
