MRS teams with Myriad Genetics

Mammography Reporting System (MRS) of Seattle is partnering with Myriad Genetics of Salt Lake City to help identify patients at high risk for hereditary breast cancer.

MRS will incorporate warnings for hereditary breast cancer risk in its breast cancer tracking software with the help of Myriad's BRACAnalysis breast cancer predisposition test.

BRACAnalysis is designed to assess a woman's risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer based on detection of mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.
