Air Trapping:
The patient shown below was being evaluated for increasing shortness of breath. Inspiratory images demonstrated heterogeneous attenuation to the lung parenchyma. Air trapping was evident on expiratory images as the lung parenchyma remained lucent and showed little change in volume.
