From desperation comes IT inspiration at Parkview

Three years ago, Parkview Adventist Medical Center in Maine found itself in a dilemma. Suppliers of the facility's existing IT infrastructure were no longer supporting its products. Faced with costly upgrades and other expensive options, Parkview looked for IT alternatives -- and found them. Parkview's chief information officer Bill McQuaid recently discussed the choices the facility made and its new IT infrastructure.
