The American College of Radiology (ACR) recently selected 22 sites for its learning network to address cancer diagnosis performance using a learning health system approach.
Four improvement collaboratives consisting of several research institutes each will look at performance areas in cancer diagnosis through this initiative, funded by a grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. These include lung cancer screening, mammography positioning, prostate MR image quality, and recommendations follow-up.
