Medical record services provider eHealth Global Technologies said it has launched a new referral package.
eHealth Referral Management Solution (RMS) gathers patient records not generated within the system and delivers them in a digital format, incorporating an automated communication and reporting stream with referring physicians, according to the firm.
eHealth RMS features the ability to provide automated communication to referring physicians and management reports to the hospitals. Communication back to referring physicians can be automated through customizable triggers, ensuring that referring doctors are updated quickly on the status of their patients, the company said.
The company has inked one of its first contracts for the package with Inova Health System's transplant center in Falls Church, VA.
