Grundig launches new mobile dictation recorder

German dictation technology provider Grundig Business Systems will introduce a new mobile dictation recorder at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting this month in Orlando, FL, the company reported.

Digta x410 is based on Grundig's Digta x415 model, and comes with a 32-MB hard disk, which allows for up to five hours of voice recording. A USB interface allows users to turn the device into a PC dictation microphone.

Grundig, based in Bayreuth, Germany, hopes the Digta x410 will encourage users of analog dictation devices to make the transition to digital dictation.
