The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM, formerly SCAR) is offering scholarships to first- or second-year medical residents in North America who are interested in imaging informatics.
Travel expenses and meeting registration for the SIIM 2007 annual meeting, to be held June 7-10 in Providence, RI, as well as a one-year SIIM membership, are included for the recipients, according to the Great Falls, VA-based society.
Applicants will need to submit a 500- to 750-word essay on the subject of "Improving workflow efficiency for radiologists."
The application deadline is April 1. For more information, visit SIIM's Web site.
