Imaging informatics developer Softmedical of Saint-Laurent, Quebec, will showcase its RIS/PACS workflow and introduce a standalone version of FLOreporter, its interpretation suite.
Softmedical's integrated RIS/PACS product includes patient registration and order entry, procedure scheduling, workflow and practice management, archive and image management, visualization and diagnostic interpretation, media and Web distribution capabilities, and billing integration, the company said.
The FLOreporter interpretation suite features digital dictation; remote transcription, verification, and signature; report management; archiving; and automated delivery, according to Softmedical. It incorporates procedure/physician-specific default templates, links to relevant images, and automated delivery in multiple formats such as DICOM Structured Reporting (SR), HL7 message, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, fax, and print.
Softmedical will also participate in the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) cross-enterprise document sharing for imaging (XDS-I) demonstrations in the Lakeside Center, and offer demonstrations in its booth as well, the firm said.
