GE Healthcare has signed an agreement to upgrade Valley Baptist Health System in Barrington, IL, to its Centricity Enterprise product.

The Centricity Enterprise application is an integrated clinical, financial, and administrative system that provides computerized physician order entry (CPOE), clinical decision support, and integrates orders, results, pharmacy, and care documentation. It works in concert with administrative/financial processes for scheduling, registration/admitting, charging, and billing, according to Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based GE.
