Nucs AI, Segmed to build AI validation platform for theranostics

Nucs AI and Segmed are entering a strategic partnership to develop validation infrastructure for AI-powered predictive imaging biomarkers in oncology and theranostics, with Segmed making a strategic investment in Nucs AI as part of the collaboration.

Through the partnership, Nucs AI will access Segmed's library of de-identified imaging and clinical data spanning more than 2,800 healthcare partner sites and 150 million imaging studies across multiple institutions, geographies, cancer types, and treatment settings. The partnership extends Segmed's data infrastructure into molecular imaging, radiopharmaceuticals, and theranostics, the firm said.

The companies will jointly develop disease-specific registries, curated research cohorts, real-world evidence initiatives, and validation frameworks. Nucs AI said it has already leveraged more than 72,000 lesions in developing its existing models and will use the expanded dataset to broaden its platform across new cancer types and imaging modalities.
