GE HealthCare (GEHC) is making more than 20 hours of AI education available at no cost through its HelloAI program.
The curriculum covers AI integration in radiology and ultrasound, data handling, responsible adoption frameworks, and how clinicians communicate AI to patients, according to the company. It is designed for clinicians, researchers, administrators, and leaders and is available in an on-demand online format. A separate one-hour HelloAI Foundations introductory course is also available free of charge.
GEHC noted that physician use of AI has more than doubled since 2023 to 81%, according to the American Medical Association, but that training has lagged adoption. The company said that it tops the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's list of AI-enabled device authorizations, with 100 clearances to date over four years.
