RadNet forms joint venture to manage Idaho imaging centers

RadNet has formed a multisite joint venture with the not-for-profit Saint Alphonsus Health System through the acquisition of a majority equity position in Intermountain Medical Imaging, the owner of five outpatient multimodality imaging centers in Boise, ID.

Under the agreement, RadNet will assume management of operations for each of the five imaging centers. They include three in Meridian and Eagle and facilities at two Saint Alphonsus medical centers, according to RadNet.

The existing contracted radiology practice, Gem State Radiology, and its nearly 30 radiologists will continue providing professional radiology services to all five locations, RadNet said, adding that the practice will use the DeepHealth platform for radiology interpretation and reporting.

All five centers will also implement DeepHealth's cloud-first, AI-powered Operations Suite, which includes a radiology information system, patient engagement platform, and operational AI tools, RadNet noted.

Saint Alphonsus Health System is part of Trinity Health, a healthcare system based in Livonia, MI.
