Guerbet will provide 100 educational scholarships for clinicians and interested high school and college students to attend a review course on artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine sponsored by the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM).
The "AI in Medicine Review Course" is a two-day virtual course on basic concepts in artificial intelligence in clinical medicine and healthcare. The course was designed by a team of clinician-data scientists, as well as clinicians with an AI focus and data scientists who are involved in healthcare, the ABAIM said.
Guerbet develops contrast media, delivery systems, medical devices, and related products for diagnostic and interventional imaging. The company said it spends 10% of its annual revenue on continuing innovation, education, and R&D.
