Austrian artificial intelligence (AI) startup ImageBiopsy Lab and Siemens Healthineers are partnering to offer ImageBiopsy's AI-based musculoskeletal imaging x-ray software for the detection of knee osteoarthritis (OA) to Siemens clients.
The software is called KOALA (Knee-OA Labeling Assistant); it tracks x-ray osteoarthritis findings and produces reports that help improve clinicians' throughput for these exams. It will be incorporated into Siemens' syngo.via, according to the firm.
