
Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer MaxQ AI announced that its Accipio intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) software is now available on medical software provider Blackford Analysis' platform.
Accipio uses AI to assess noncontrast head CT images for suspected ICH. The Blackford platform manages multiple imaging applications and AI algorithms, reducing the load on PACS. New applications can be added to the image-processing platform, which now includes Accipio.
In other MaxQ AI news, the firm achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 certification, an international standard outlining benchmarks for information security management systems. The process took a year to achieve, which involved the entire company, working closely with its Quality Management System team, to ensure alignment to the ISO's quality standards.
