
Bayer has enlisted Blackford Analysis to develop a platform that will integrate artificial intelligence (AI) applications used in medical imaging.
Per a licensing and development deal, Blackford will develop the platform for Bayer, and Bayer will provide AI solutions of its own and from third parties. The companies announced the deal during the RSNA 2020 virtual conference being held this week.
The idea is to provide an integrated platform for AI applications that will work well within radiology department workflows and to connect imaging professionals to a virtual marketplace where they can access AI-related needs. An integrated platform will help radiologists meet the needs of an increasingly demanding work environment with better efficiency, according to the companies.
