GE Healthcare is integrating neuroimaging software from Canadian firm Imeka into its BrainWave functional brain MRI image analysis offering.
With Imeka's neuroimaging software, researchers and clinicians can utilize GE's BrainWave functional brain image analysis software package to obtain localized views of white matter, gaining further insight into central nervous system diseases and disorders, according to the vendors.
Offered by GE via a partnership with Medical Numerics, BrainWave provides processing, analysis, 3D rendering, and display of results from blood oxygen level-dependent (BOLD) MRI and diffusion tractography scans.
