SNM offers $25,000 grant to nuclear medicine technologists

The Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist Section (SNMTS) has launched its first grant program. Applicants may seek up to $25,000 to support a year's worth of research on radiation safety and practice management.

Nuclear medicine technologists who have not received more than $10,000 worth of research funding over the past five years are eligible. Those who currently receive funding from commercial entities are ineligible, as are full-time Ph.D or MD candidates, according to the SNMTS Professional Development and Education Fund guidelines.

A letter of intent to apply is due to SNMTS by May 1; the full proposal is due by June 1. Applications are available at www.snm.org/grants.
