COVID-19 rates in London remain relatively high, but they are at least falling. Between April 24 and April 30, 2022, 8,758 new cases were identified in London, a rate of 97 cases per 100,000 population. This compares with 13,101 cases and a rate of 146 for the previous week. The total number of COVID-19 cases identified in London to date is 2,876,391, comprising 15.5% of the England total of 18,590,347 cases, according to figures from london.gov.uk.
