Clarius launches AI-guided cardiac ultrasound training tool

Clarius Mobile Health has debuted T-Mode Heart, an AI-powered training tool designed to help primary care physicians, medical students, and emergency clinicians learn point-of-care (POC) cardiac ultrasound.

The Clarius app activates a split-screen view showing a standard grayscale ultrasound image alongside an AI-generated, color-coded image with anatomical labels, allowing users to identify heart chambers and valves in real time, according to the company. T-Mode Heart is the 10th module in the Clarius Intelligence suite, it said.

Clarius is also launching T-Mode Knee, which applies the same split-screen approach to musculoskeletal imaging, supporting scanning across anterior, posterior, lateral, and medial planes.

Both tools are available globally with the release of Clarius App 12.2.6 and are compatible with Clarius HD3 handheld ultrasound scanners via Clarius Membership or a one-time license for Clarius Intelligence features.
