Fujifilm Sonosite is launching Sonosite iLOOK, a compact ultrasound system designed for vascular access procedures at the bedside.
The system features a purpose-built interface for vascular access workflows and supports arterial, venous, and peripheral intravenous examinations using B-mode, color velocity Doppler, and color power Doppler imaging modes, according to the company. It includes a wireless transducer weighing approximately 170 grams and Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA)-compatible mounting options for deployment across clinical environments.
Sonosite iLOOK is intended to complement existing point-of-care ultrasound systems by providing a dedicated option for vascular access, allowing other systems to be reserved for broader imaging applications, Fujifilm Sonosite said.
