Butterfly Network has made its iQ+ and iQ3 handheld ultrasound devices commercially available in Brazil through a network of authorized distribution partners.
Butterfly said the launch is intended to expand diagnostic imaging capacity across high-volume hospitals, municipal health systems, clinics, and emergency care settings, as well as improve access in rural communities with limited imaging infrastructure.
The iQ+ and iQ3 devices use Butterfly's ultrasound-on-chip semiconductor technology and are compatible with supported iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, enabling whole-body imaging from a single handheld device.
