Parker Laboratories has been awarded a national group purchasing agreement with Premier.
This agreement, which took effect on June 1, covers Tristel ULT high-level disinfectant foam for ultrasound probes and Aquasonic 100 Ultrasound Transmission Gel.
Tristel ULT is a chlorine dioxide foam designed for point-of-care high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes without an automated reprocessor. It eliminates bacteria, viruses, and fungi within two minutes and is compatible with more than 1,200 ultrasound probes. It has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Parker said.
The deal also covers Parker's full line of ultrasound transmission gels, UltraDrape barrier and securement dressings, and Thermasonic gel warmers.
