Mindray launches Hepatus-Series ultrasound systems

Mindray has launched two new ultrasound systems for gastroenterology imaging: the Hepatus 6, a comprehensive platform for liver, bowel, and spleen assessment; and the Hepatus 5, a tablet-based system focused on liver scanning and hepatology.

Both systems integrate Visualized Transient Elastography (ViTE) quantitative stiffness measurements with high-resolution diagnostic ultrasound, the company said. The systems also feature Q-Scan Intelligent Acquisition, an AI-powered tool that automatically captures multiple valid measurements in a single workflow to reduce variability. A quality control index also provides real-time feedback on probe pressure and respiratory motion stability during exams.

The systems are built on a data infrastructure supporting structured data capture, network sharing, and secure file transfer, designed to support repeatable exams and longitudinal monitoring.

The Hepatus 6 includes a five-year warranty and the Hepatus 5 a three-year warranty, with a software upgrade pathway designed to extend platform performance over time, Mindray said.
