Diagnoly has launched its Fetoly fetal ultrasound AI application on iOS, allowing obstetricians, maternal fetal medicine specialists, and sonographers to use the tool directly on an iPad without additional hardware or system upgrades.
Fetoly operates locally on the device rather than in the cloud and continuously analyzes the ultrasound video stream throughout a scan, verifying examination completeness by assessing anatomical structures and highlighting suspicious findings, the firm said. The latest version adds automated ratios to help detect ventriculomegaly, corpus callosum abnormalities, and total anomalous pulmonary venous return (TAPVR).
The application is currently deployed in more than 20 countries and follows a recently announced collaboration between Diagnoly and GE HealthCare, the company said.
