Verasonics releases research ultrasound platform update

Verasonics has released an update to its Vantage NXT Research Ultrasound platform.

Expanded features include advanced hardware integration capabilities, more support for focused ultrasound (FUS) applications, and enhanced real-time data synchronization tools.

The update is currently available to all Vantage NXT customers, the firm added, and its FUS 2D and FUS 3D graphical software is now fully compatible with Vantage NXT.

Verasonics said that it has also revised its “Essentials of Ultrasound Imaging” course series to support the Vantage NXT platform.

Additionally, Verasonics has launched its M8dV 8 MHz Matrix Array Transducer, a 1,024-element probe built on a 32 × 32 monolithic array, compatible with both Vantage NXT and Vantage 256-channel systems.
