The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) will recognize awardees at its 2025 AIUM Annual Convention: The Ultrasound Event, to be held March 29 to April 1 in Orlando, Florida.
The 2025 awardees represent a diverse range of achievements, from ultrasound research to advancing clinical practices and training the next generation of professionals. The following will be honored at the convention:
- Kathy Nightingale, PhD: William J. Fry Memorial Lecture Award
- Arthur Fleischer, MD: Joseph H. Holmes Clinical Pioneer Award
- Diane Dalecki, PhD: Joseph H. Holmes Basic Science Pioneer Award
- M. Robert De Jong Jr.: Distinguished Sonographer Award
- Charlotte Henningsen: Peter H. Arger Excellence in Medical Student Education Award
- Kevin Piro, MD, Michael Blaivas, MD, Yvette Groszmann, MD: AIUM Presidential Recognition Awards
- Levin Nazarian, MD, Carmine M. Valente: Distinguished Service Award
- Giovanni Volpicelli, MD: Honorary Fellow Award
