Mobile medical trailer company Advanced Mobility and Specialty Vehicles has delivered an Ingenia 1.5-tesla MRI trailer from Philips Healthcare to the Vancouver Island Health Authority of Victoria, British Columbia.
Philips has named the company as its preferred supplier for future mobile Ingenia 1.5- and 3-tesla MRI trailers, Advanced Mobility said.
The new mobile MRI trailer, the first Philips has sold in British Columbia, includes a custom air conditioning unit and chiller system designed by Advanced Mobility, along with a patient lift and custom graphics for the exterior of the trailer.
