Telix highlighted the commercial launch of Pixclara, the company's recently approved PET imaging agent for glioma.
The first U.S. patients received the amino acid PET agent (F-18 floretyrosine) at Indiana University Health Neuroscience Center in Indianapolis and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, the company said. PharmaLogic is Telix's U.S. manufacturing and pharmacy distribution partner and supplies the commercial unit doses.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Pixclara in September to differentiate recurrent or progressive glioma from treatment-related change in adults and pediatric patients 1 month and older.
