Lantheus reports increased Q2 revenue following Curium transaction

Lantheus Holdings reported increased revenue for the second quarter of 2026, following the Aug. 3 announcement that the company will be acquired by Curium.

The radiopharmaceutical company reported worldwide revenues of $388.2 million, up 2.7% from the same period in 2025.

While sales of Lantheus' Pylarify prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-PET imaging agent were $240.4 million, a decrease of 4.1%, sales of its ultrasound contrast agent Definity increased by 5.2% to reach $88.3 million.

GAAP net income was $75 million, down 4.7% from the $78.5 million reported in the second quarter of 2025, according to the vendor.

Lantheus recently entered into a definitive agreement to merge with Curium. Under the deal, Curium US Holdings will acquire all outstanding shares in an all-cash transaction valued at about $8 billion. With the pending acquisition, Lantheus suspended its previously issued full-year 2026 financial guidance and will not host a conference call for the quarter.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027. After that, Lantheus will cease to be a publicly traded firm. For now, the company will continue operating independently.
