Radiopharmaceutical developer Telix Pharmaceuticals said that Ryoichi Tanaka has joined Telix Japan as chief operating officer (COO) and head of business development.
Tanaka joins Telix from Siemens Healthcare K.K., where he was head of medical policy and public affairs, according to the vendor. He has over 35 years of experience in radiology and molecular imaging across sales and marketing, business development, and medical policy and government affairs, Telix said.
Tanaka also currently holds public positions as vice chair of the committee of research and development of the Japan Medical Imaging and Radiological Systems Industries Association, as well as director of reimbursement for the European Business Council in Japan.
