United Imaging Healthcare has made the first U.S. clinical installation of its digital PET/CT system, uMI 550.
The system is now installed at Southwest X-Ray in El Paso, TX. Its technology is built on the same platform as the company's uExplorer PET/CT device, which received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in January.
